This week was a short one for the Canadian markets due to the Victoria Day long weekend, and next week will be short for the American markets for the Memorial Day long weekend.

The 620 CKRM Country Cookout for the spring season is in the books and our last winner was Greg Kistner from the Bethune area. Thursday was perfect weather for a cookout after consecutive days of rain.

Saskatchewan farmers are well ahead of the five and ten-year averages for this time of year for seeding progress, as 72% of seeding has been completed to this point.

Dustin Todd was lucky winner number seven of the spring 620 CKRM Country Cookout. Todd farms in the Glenavon area, about an hour and twenty minutes southeast of Regina. It's a mixed operation which keeps him and his family plenty busy.
