The Grain Growers of Canada (GGC) wants to hear directly from farmers about what keeps them up at night from a federal ag policy perspective.
They're in the middle of a Summer Tour of the Prairies that started on Monday in the Randolph and Cypress River areas of Manitoba. The Saskatchewan part of the tour started Tuesday around the Carievale and Churchbridge areas and Wednesday in the Davidson and Daylesford areas before wrapping up in Alberta in the Killam and Smoky Lake areas on Thursday.
Executive Director of GGC Kyle Larking said they're touring farms with local Members of Parliament. 620 CKRM Ag News Director Ryan Young talked to Larkin on Tuesday about what he's heard in Manitoba and the value this has for them and for local MP's.
