REGINA - It is back to work for MLAs at the Saskatchewan Legislature this week following Monday’s provincial election. New and returning members were at the Legislature as they started their preparations for the fall session.

REGINA - The Government of Saskatchewan's Crown latest oil and natural gas public offering, held on Oct. 29, raised $7,304,936 for the province, with the southeast region generating the majority of the revenue.

Tracy Robinson, the president and CEO of Canadian National Railway, is making a visit to Regina, and its a homecoming of sorts. Robinson was born in Bethune, and went to Lumsden High School.

This year saw more tornado activity compared to the yearly average for Saskatchewan. Environment Canada Meteorologist Terri Lang says there were 17 tornadoes recorded compared to one in 2023, above the yearly average of 14.
