The Canadian mustard industry is extremely concerned about the plan by BASF to release Invigor Gold. 
 
Invigor Gold is canola quality mustard and would be able to cross pollinate with brown and oriental mustard, BASF says. 
 
BASF says Invigor Gold will be more drought tolerant than regular canola, but the mustard industry says it will put Canadian mustard sales in jeopardy.
