This week's Ag in Motion near Langham, Saskatchewan is shaping up to be another busy show with lots of visitors, hundreds of agri-businesses, and plenty of farm equipment to see in action.

Show Director Rob O'Connor said attendance has been consistently strong as the show attracts visitors from every corner of the province, as well as other provinces such as Alberta and Manitoba, and even internationally. Of the latter group of guests, O'Connor said about 200 were at Ag in Motion last year and expects that number to double this year.

Improvements have been made to the Ag in Motion app to make it easier for guests to enter. O'Connor said most of the tickets last year were electronic, reducing the amount of time waiting in line. He encourages people to start planning to attend the show with the app or a physical copy of the show guide is available at the site.

Equipment demonstrations are one of the big attractions of Ag in Motion. O'Connor said ride-and-drives are back and event-goers have a chance to try out tractors, sprayers, among other things. Drones are also part of the line up of things to test.

O'Connor said Livestock Central - comprising of beef cattle, dairy cattle, and sheep - focuses on the production side of things, including the latest feeding practices and nutrition. A Junior Cattle Show will make its debut at Ag in Motion, he added.

There's also the "people movers" - tractors with a trailer attached - for those who've done a lot of walking or just want to get around quicker.

Ag in Motion starts Tuesday and goes until Thursday from the Discovery Farm site, northwest of Saskatoon.

SaskAgToday will be covering all three days of the event.
