CN and CPKC Rail supplied a combined 91% of hopper cars ordered in grain week 48, reflecting a decline from the 97% order fulfillment performance seen in week 47.
That's accoding to the Ag Transport Coalition
In supplying 86% of cars ordered by shippers in week 48, CN saw performance decline from the 94% order fulfillment performance seen the prior week.
This marks the eleventh consecutive week that CN order fulfillment performance has reached or surpassed the 80% performance threshold but fell below the 90% threshold for the first time in three weeks.
CPKC saw performance decline slightly, with the railway supplying 95% of shipper orders in week 48 as compared to the 100% order fulfillment performance seen in week 47.
This marks the eighth consecutive week the railway has posted performance of 90% or better.
