CN and CPKC Rail supplied a combined 92% of hopper cars ordered in grain week 45, reflecting a modest decline from the 97% order fulfillment performance seen in week 44.
That's according to the Ag Transport Coalition.
In supplying 88% of cars ordered by shippers in week 45, CN saw performance decline from the 94% order fulfillment performance seen the prior week.
This marks the eighth consecutive week that CN order fulfillment performance has reached or surpassed the 80% performance threshold.
CPKC saw performance decline slightly this week with the railway supplying 97% of shipper orders in week 45, down from the 100% order fulfillment performance seen in week 44.
This marks the fifth consecutive week the railway has posted performance of 90% or better.
