CN and CPKC Rail supplied a combined 97% of hopper cars ordered in grain week 44, reflecting an improvement from the 91% order fulfillment performance seen in week 43.
That's according to the Ag Transport Coalition.
In supplying 94% of cars ordered by shippers in week 44, CN performance saw notable improvement from the 82% order fulfillment performance seen the prior week.
This marks the seventh consecutive week that CN order fulfillment performance has reached or surpassed the 80% performance threshold.
CN performance returns above the 90% performance threshold for the second time in the last three weeks.
CPKC saw performance improve once again, with the railway supplying 100% of shipper orders in week 44, an improvement from the 99% order fulfillment performance seen in week 43.
This represents CPKC's best performance since week 44 of the 2023-24 grain year and the fourth consecutive week the railway has posted performance of 90% or better.
