Nuclear energy is one of the options considered for transitioning Saskatchewan from the current power source of fossil fuels in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and be a cleaner, greener province. However, a formal decision on whether Saskatchewan will fully commit to SMR's won't be made until the end of the decade.

620 CKRM AgriNews Director Ryan Young caught up with former Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall at the Food, Fuel, and Fertilizer Summit on Monday to chat about nuclear energy as well as the potential for Saskatchewan to grow.
