Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were mainly higher for the past week.

The Saskatchewan ministry of Agriculture says feeder steer prices ranged from 343 dollars per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound category to 236 dollars 83 cents for the over 900 pound weight category.

Feeder heifer prices ranged from 278 dollars 50 cents per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound weight category to 214 dollars 75 cents for the over 800 pound weight category.

Cattle volumes were 7,779 head sold for the week, nearly half the 14,156 head marketed the previous week.
